2&1/2 cups of Jonagold applespeeled and cubed - you can substitute another great baking apple
Toppings:
4Tbsp.of melted unsalted butter
4Tbsp.of all-purpose flour
4Tbsp.of granulated sugar
1&1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
preheat the oven to 325 degrees
in a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until mixed well
add the eggs to the cream mixture and mix well
in a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the cream mixture
pour or scoop out the batter into 2 greased loaf pans
in a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients and spread the topping over the batter
bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour

Can I make this bread sweeter?
Yes, this bread is only mildly sweet which I happen to really enjoy. But, I get it. Try substituting half brown sugar and half granulated sugar in place of granulated sugar, or add raisins or dried cherries

You can make apple bread several days in advance. The apples, once cooked will stop their browning process. You can leave apple bread, covered at room temperature for 4-5 days
