Ingredients
  

Dressing:

  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of oil - vegetable or canola
  • 1 tsp. of ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. of salt
  • ½ cup of white vinegar

Other

  • 1 15 oz. can of cut green beans - drained
  • 1 15 oz. can of yellow wax beans - drained
  • 1 15 oz. can of kidney beans - drained and rinsed (either light or dark works fine)
  • 1 green bell pepper - chopped
  • 1 onion chopped or sliced - a sweet Vidalia onion tastes great

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl whisk the ingredients for the salad dressing
  • fold in the beans and vegetables - coat well
  • cover and refrigerate for 3 hours to overnight
  • serve cold
