  • 3 16 oz. jars or covered container

Ingredients
  

  • 9 cups cucumbers sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sweet onion chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper chopped
  • 1 tbsp celery seed
  • 1 tbsp pickling spice
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • ¼ cup fresh dill optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine everything in a large bowl
  • Mix to combine
  • Divide mixture and liquid evenly between three 16 oz. Jars or place in a sealed container. Liquid may not fill the jars 100%.
  • Optional: Divide fresh dill evenly between the jars
  • Refrigerate overnight. Let them pickle for at least 12 hours. They are even better after a few days.
