Description
Delicious and Simple Berry Jam
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. of salt
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 cups of berries
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the first 3 ingredients together in a medium saucepan
- Add the water, and berries
- Stir the mixture
- Set the heat on high to a rolling boil, and then turn it down to simmer
- Simmer for about 5 minutes
- Let it cool a little, and transfer the sauce into a jar
Notes
Serving:
delicious when served over pancakes, ice cream, or mixed into yogurt
Storage:
Store with a lid on in the refrigerator for up to 1 week
Reheat:
Reheat without the lid on in the microwave or return to the saucepan and heat through
