Ingredients
Dressing:
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of oil – vegetable or canola
- 1 tsp. of ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. of salt
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar
Other
- 1 (15 oz.) can of cut green beans – drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can of yellow wax beans – drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can of kidney beans – drained and rinsed (either light or dark works fine)
- 1 green bell pepper – chopped
- 1 onion chopped or sliced – (a sweet Vidalia onion tastes great)
Instructions
- In a large bowl whisk the ingredients for the salad dressing
- fold in the beans and vegetables – coat well
- cover and refrigerate for 3 hours to overnight
- serve cold
